Preface

The energy industry is one of the most important industries to all of humankind.  Energy permeates virtually every aspect of life and profoundly affects prosperity.  The manner in which energy is harnessed and utilized affects the environment and the quality of life for every human being.  Our global community is perpetually engaged in debate about the appropriate uses of energy, the costs and environmental impacts of the various types of energy.  Regrettably, many of our political leaders, members of the media and members of the public lack the requisite knowledge necessary to facilitate informed dialog and enlightened public policy.

The breadth and depth of dynamic energy issues makes it difficult for political leaders, members of the media and the public to access accurate, current and unbiased information about energy.  Increasing polarization of opinions about energy related issues has resulted in the proliferation of misinformation.  EnergyPolicyUs believes that there is a great exigency for improved and reliable methods to make available factual, non-partisan information about energy-related issues to political leaders, the media and members of the general public.

Mission Statement

EnergyPolicyUs’ mission is to provide honest, meaningful, accurate and timely information about energy related issues in a balanced, non-partisan manner in order to facilitate informed dialog and enlightened public policy.  Our mission is also to study and analyze energy related issues and provide fact-based commentary and conclusions about energy related issues in a balanced, non-partisan manner.
